Yeah... I dabble.
This is a ten-minute play I wrote in a devised musical class (out of which a staged musical was born; go check my events for more info). It is a dramatic retelling of Jack the Ripper's first known murder with a couple of odd twists. It's kind of what convinced me I could maybe write!
This is an article I wrote right at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic about the effect it was having on the arts and what performers didn't see the creative and production teams doing behind the scenes to keep the arts alive. I got to interview some awesome folks so I'd read it just for that!
This is a snippet from a screenplay I'm currently working on. It follows 16-year-old Luisa Roybal on a journey to try and prove that her alcoholic yet loving father didn't overdose, but was in fact killed. On the way, she deals with familial betrayal and neglect, finds love and support from unexpected places, and discovers the truth about her father and her relationship with him.
